i can feel myself hitting rock bottom
Hey so I just found out that me and my boyfriend are exactly 800 dollars away from getting a place. He’s been working his ass off constantly trying to build up enough money to put down so I can stop jumping from couch to couch and living my life as afraid as I am. Staying with my mom has not been the best for my mental and even physical health, I am constantly at risk of getting caught there with my dog and not only will I get tossed out but my mother and my siblings would due to her breaking the lease by having me and Rizzo here. I’m sleeping on cots or old couches or even an air mattress which doesn’t help my back and neck injury at all. There are times where I have to leave within the half hour before her landlord comes and catches us and it’s very hectic and upsetting.
My lawsuit is…a mess and it’s not only ripped my career from me but it’s still keeping me from going out and finding a job which has been honestly killing me.
We do not have a lot of time before we miss this chance to get the place and I hate doing this but I’m like…out of things to sell and I refuse to go back into sex work. But I’m so close to having a normal life and being able to start over in a safe environment where I don’t have to worry about ever getting kicked out again. Jordan Peele’s rebooting The Twilight Zone, which is awesome, but there is going to be a bunch of fake/racist sci-fi fans probably getting angry at him if he decides to do episodes about social issues specifically about race.
And let me just tell you as a HUGE Twilight Zone fan, the original show is 90% commentary on subjects like race, war, and even mental health.
